Amazed by how quick they learn

My day started off normal.... didnt sleep much so got up late. Get the kids dressed, get myself dressed, send one with Nana and one with Grandma, and try to get TOdd moving out the door so he is not dragging in late at work. For the life of me I dont know why he stresses being at work before they even open, but you know guess it takes go getters to start this world every morning. Me I rush rush rush, just to go and sit all day. Which is good I do get to talk to many interesting people every day working at the hospital. Which also makes me appreciate every aspect of my life and my family.

So hear is the highlight of my day before rushing to end the day with supper baths and bedtime stories.

So my little one loves to sing and sing, she does. Mostly she sings nursery rhymes, but sometimes she comes out with her very own little song. She especially loves mimicing her older sister and singing about tittie tats and witches. Halloween I think is her very favorite. Especially the totalate part.

Kasey of course is singing her kindergarten songs and all of them you spell the color in the song and then name the color. Speaking of colors and words we now have to not only say them but spell everyone we say or look at. There goes that little trick me and her daddy use when we are trying to hide stuff from her. She catches on to them pretty darn quick.

While I am cooking I hear Kaylee Erin singing and her new song goes as such:

O-R-A-N-G-E, O-R-A-N-G-E that spells Black

After singing verse after verse of this Kasey (as we are laying out the cookies to cook) says mom how do you spell black and then goes to properly educate Kaylee Erin on O-R-A-N-G-E spells orange not black.

And Erin's response.

That witch is black...

In which we all start laughing....

Kaylee Erin needless to say is going to be the smartest one of us all. :)

Have a blessed evening.

Teehee that's so cute. Well it makes sense though. Orange represents the Vols and black represents doom and despair. Bbbbwwaaahaahaaa!
